RCS Infrastructure delivers signalling construction to some of Australia’s largest rail infrastructure projects.
With specialist electrical, civil and mechanical resources, factory-build
and site installation capabilities, our construction team can deliver
stand-alone signalling works or integrate into larger multi-disciplinary
teams working across all facets of signalling construction projects. All
works are managed by our construction leadership team who can also
provide expertise to other organisations and fill lead roles across
multiple disciplines and major projects
Based out of our dedicated fabrication and test facility in Brisbane, our
team supports major projects with deployment signalling technology in
addition to fabricating and wiring RCS Australia solutions to specific
client requirements. Typically, our construction teams carry out all
aspects of site civil works in advance of the deployment of fully factory-
tested equipment enclosures and line side huts. Our site teams then
complete the final installation and testing before the signalling system
is commissioned into service.
Infrastructure solutions
Our electrical team takes great pride in building a quality product from start to finish. Operating out of a large commercial warehouse in Banyo, we can construct multiple large huts and location cases in parallel.
Our teams are multi-skilled and can follow the factory build activities into the field and complete site installation, staging, termination and testing support activities.
In house capability for the installation and maintenance of mechanical points lead by Cert 3 qualified mechanical signalling personnel.
RCS Infrastructure has extensive civil construction capacity that includes cable route construction, cable hauling and installation, foundation and earthing installations, structures installation, balise and trackside equipment installation.
RCS Infrastructure provides maintenance and repair services for electrical and mechanical signalling equipment.
We have suitably qualified and experienced Cert III Mechanical Rail Signalling Maintainers and Cert IV Signal Electricians who can maintain signalling systems and their subcomponents to prevent signalling system failures and associated train delays, and to ensure the safety provided by the system is maintained.
We have provided qualified personnel, vehicles and all associated support labour, machinery, and equipment necessary to complete major and minor maintenance for clients. We work in well with established client teams that need additional support or can take on whole scopes of work as required.
Our maintenance support activities are performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements and in accordance with the client’s technical and operational specification and standards.

Our team is fully equipped with compliant and certified plant and
equipment and prepared to deliver all factory and on-site electrical,
civil and mechanical signalling installations.
Our electrical and mechanical teams also provide maintenance
services to main line and private rail operators with a team of
qualified Cert 4 signal electricians, Cert 3 mechanical points
installers, construction labour and supervisory staff.
