Union & Mont Albert (UMA) Level Crossing Removal Project

Project Description

RCS Australia is contributing once again to the Level Crossing Removal Project, removing 85 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2025.

On the Union & Mont Albert (UMA) Level Crossing Removal Project, the overarching signalling scope, being delivered by UGL, includes re-signalling and re-locking the three lines between Chatham and Box Hill with conventional signalling and a new CBI.

RCS Australia has been contracted by UGL to deliver these works. Our scope includes modifying the existing SSI interface at Camberwell station controlling the up-entry to the bi-directional centreline.
