Project Description
Established in 2006, TrackStar Alliance designed and constructed a series of rail infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.
Some of the projects completed included:
- The Caboolture to Beerburrum Track Duplication
- The Robina to Varsity Lakes Rail Extension
- The Corinda to Darra Rail Upgrade
- The Beerwah Rail CrossingThe alliance also completed the construction of the Stage 2 Richlands to Springfield Transport Corridor Project, delivered to help reduce
congestion on the Centenary Highway, removing 2500 cars off the road during peak traffic times. Key features of this project included a 9.5-kilometre dual track passenger rail line, two new stations, an integrated bus and rail interchange, seven rail bridges and more than seven kilometres of cycle pathways. Rail Control was responsible for design support and independent review.
RCSA was responsible for a capacity improvement study to support 9 car trains as well as various design reviews and checking works.
