Melbourne Metro Tunnel

The Metro Tunnel creates a new end-to-end rail line from Sunbury in the west to Cranbourne/Pakenham in the south-east, with high-capacity trains and five new underground stations.

As part of the Metro Tunnel Project RCSG was contracted to deliver multiple packages of work for the signalling design. This involved co-location of our signalling designers in a multidisciplinary team in order to develop complex signalling solutions to facilitate the delivery of the civil and construction components of the project.

Our experienced team was able to deliver the needs of the project, especially where multiple legacy technologies formed part of the design. Ongoing works include Principles Testing as the project nears its completion.
