London Overground Capacity Improvement Program

The London Overground Capacity Improvement Programme (LOCIP) increased capacity on the London Overground network with 4 Car Trains converting to 5 Car configurations. This required the provision of new stabling facilities at Silwood Sidings to provide housing for trains relocated from New Cross Gate Depot due to the additional length. RCSA carried out SSI data design and verification to support these works drawing on the experience of RCSA staff with UK signalling principles and design standards.
