About the Job:
At Rail Control Systems Group (RCSG) we are delivering the rail networks of the future.
Rail Control Systems Group has an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager.
What you will be responsible for:
Design Production
- Manage the production, verification and approvals of detailed signalling designs applicable to large and complex schemes. You will work as a signalling discipline manager within a large (non RCSG) project team, alliance or major works project and provide project technical advice as the subject matter expert
Relationship Management
- Acts as the interface with clients for technical development and delivery of signalling projects; ensure issues affecting design delivery are identified and resolutions are found
- Represent RCS Group within the industry, develop and maintain an excellent professional relationship with clients and project stakeholders
Performance Management
- Preparation of bids, tenders and proposals
- Works closely with Project Manager in providing constructive input into delivering projects on time and on budget including time estimates and resource requirements
Who you are:
- Approx 10 years’ in senior design roles, management and signalling project delivery.
- Experience working with construction to implement signalling design
- Working knowledge of relevant codes of practice/standards and other relevant codes
- Experience with signalling design, testing & commissioning and site works
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar essential
- RPEQ Essential
