Rail Control Systems Group has an exciting opportunity for a Rail Operator
What you will be responsible for:
Construction:
- Concrete and foundation installations
- Cable route and conduit installation
- Cable hauling and laying
- Installation/removal of signal posts, brackets, and signal heads
- Installation of bollards and signage
- Installation of retaining and bulk earthworks
- Undertake the role of a Spotter
- Undertake the role of an Authorised Person
- Undertake the role of a Dogman
- Location case and hut installation
- General trades assisting and labouring tasks
Undertake Operator Activities including–
- Operate excavator and skid steer loader plant as required
- Operate HR truck as required
- Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely.
- Deliver material to destinations, unload materials and complete paperwork
- Manage vehicle in safe operating condition required by DOT.
- Manage logs and records as per DOT regulations
- Load and unload vehicles or building loads and secure for safe transportation
- Check vehicles and troubleshoot and maintain vehicles and other onsite plant items
- Operate Vehicle Mounted Crane and Forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles
Who you are:
You have the following:-
- Excavator/Bobcat/Forklift Tickets
- RIW card
- Dogging licence
- HR licence
- Skill and experience in the construction of signalling equipment and installations
- Experience in a rail construction environment.
