Key responsibilities of the role include:
Design Production
- independent production of simple signalling designs as per approved client instructions and project plans. Design of more complex applications under mentorship.
- Preparation of project related documents
- Detailed signalling scope of works
- Signalling functional specifications
- Signalling design plans
- Preparation and review of technical reports and specifications
- Development and specification of design standards
- Operational and train safe working specifications
- Preparation of testing and commissioning plans and test certificates
- Identifying and confirming source inputs to design
About you:
- A minimum of 5 years in design management and signalling project delivery
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Engineering
- Desirable to have CPEng and/or holding (or working towards) IRSE licences in Signalling Designer & Verifier
- Experience with signalling design, testing & commissioning and site works
- High level interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills
