St Albans Grade Separation Project

In preparation for the St Albans Grade Separation project, a package of early works was awarded to JHG. The signalling scope was to divert local and main signalling cables clear of the worksite footprint as well as to relocate certain location cases. RCS Australia were appointed by JHG to perform the signalling design, testing and commissioning for the works over two stages.
- Required project alterations to the signalling system on the MTM running lines within the Albion to Watergardens block.
- Diversion of local and main signalling cables clear of the worksite footprint as well as the relocation of certain location cases.
- Relocation of a relay room within the worksite, the required functionality being relocated into two new location cases that were pre-built and tested prior to installation and relay room recovery.
- Conversion of the St Albans control into an auto section with the sidings and turnouts within the area becoming redundant.
